$2M Office Remodel & Space Planning
As Senior Executive Assistant & Office Manager at Sparton Corporation, I led a $2M, 25,000-square-foot office buildout, consolidating two floors to align with a five-year growth strategy. The challenge was executing the remodel efficiently while ensuring minimal business disruption.
Over the course of six months, I managed all aspects of the remodel, including contract negotiations, office design, IT infrastructure, and logistical execution. I worked closely with the general contractor, property manager, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the project was executed efficiently. Despite the complexity, the transition was completed on time and within budget, with a carefully planned, two-week phased move to maintain operational continuity.
Key Highlights:
✔ Vendor & Contract Management – Led negotiations and coordinated with architects, A/V specialists, and IT
✔ Process Optimization – Used Excel for milestone tracking, budgeting, and risk mitigation
✔ Execution & Transition – Oversaw a seamless move, ensuring smooth PC setups, branding updates, and staff communicationThe successful remodel enhanced collaboration, reinforced company culture, and created a modern, functional workspace that supported long-term business growth.

Board Portal Implmentation: Enhancing Governance & Operational Efficiency
To strengthen corporate governance and improve operational efficiency, I led the successful implementation of a Board Portal, streamlining how leadership accessed and managed critical board materials. This initiative modernized outdated processes, enhanced security, and improved collaboration between executives and board members.
Recognizing the need for a centralized digital solution, I conducted extensive vendor research, analyzed platform capabilities, and presented my findings to the CEO and CFO. I developed a comprehensive evaluation timeline, aligning with key governance requirements, which led to a unanimous Board vote in favor of the new system.
Once approved, I managed the portal’s implementation, overseeing training, stakeholder adoption, and the seamless migration of essential board materials, including agendas, meeting minutes, resolutions, and governance documents. This initiative significantly reduced administrative burdens, improved accessibility, and ensured a more efficient and secure board management process.
Impact & Results:
✔ Enhanced governance transparency and operational efficiency
✔ Reduced manual processes, improving accuracy and compliance
✔ Strengthened data security and document accessibility for executives and board members
✔ Provided long-term scalability for board operationsKey Skills: Corporate Governance | Stakeholder Management | Project Management | Process Improvement | Change Management

Career Progression Model: Elevating Administrative Services & Leadership Development
To align administrative support with evolving business needs, I spearheaded the restructuring of the Career Progression Model at Acxiom, addressing a leaner team of 20 administrators (down from 35) due to organizational changes. This initiative established a VP and above support structure and introduced a dual-track career framework to promote professional growth, leadership development, and succession planning.
Recognizing the need for a clear path to advancement, I developed two career tracks—Administrative Assistant and Strategic Executive Assistant—each with well-defined skills, competencies, and job levels aligned with market trends and the company’s administrative hierarchy.
Influence & Outcome:
✔ Designed and implemented a career framework that aligned administrative roles with evolving business needs
✔ Established two distinct career tracks to provide structured growth opportunities
✔ Defined job levels with clear skills, competencies, and performance expectations
✔ Partnered with HRBPs to ensure alignment with compensation structures and job families
✔ Presented the model to the CHRO, HRBPs, and ELT, gaining approval for enterprise-wide rollout
✔ Facilitated a seamless transition, ensuring clarity and engagement among senior management and administrative teamsThis initiative modernized administrative career development, preparing the organization for the next generation of administrative professionals while enhancing operational efficiency and leadership readiness.
